SEC Network’s Greg McElroy debuts this fall but in a new fashion

SEC football fans will be seeing a greater amount of Greg McElroy this fall.

According to, the previous Alabama quarterback will team up with surely understood  SEC Network analyst Marcus Spears on Monday evenings for a week after week football syndicated program.

“Thinking Out Loud” will make a big appearance on Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.

“Our goal on ‘Thinking Out Loud’ will be to separate the end of the week’s greatest plays and highlights exclusively from a player’s point of view. With Marcus’ identity and our thankfulness for the Xs and Os, it will make for a fun goal for football fans,” McElroy said in the release.

McElroy and Spears will welcome fans into the exchange with a crisp look and feel for the SEC football lover at home.

Their ultimate goal is to have their viewers at home better educated when it comes to SEC football.

What will the show be about?

The show will provide investigation and level headed discussion about the teams and highlights of those teams from the earlier end of the week over the SEC.

If you are fan of the SEC this will definitely be the show for you. Not only will this be a show for fans to watch but a show where fans are actually engaged in the day-to-day activities such as call-ins and social media engagement.

Spears added in a release, “I’m excited to have Greg as my ace on screen; his knowledge is unquestioned as is his ability to break down the game. I hope fans know that Thinking Out Loud will be a fun way to talk with them about the game we love.”
